Summer 2013...continued

Summer has come and gone and we sure have been busy! And this sweet boy has grown so much and is continuing to learn to things everyday!

 He discovered his love for hummus! 

 He discovered his love for the pool! It took him a while to get used to swimming but after about a week, he LOVES it! 

 He has always loved looking at his reflection but he discovered he can see himself in the fridge and from that moment on, he would stop by the fridge often and check himself out!

 He was very excited about fireworks on the 4th of July. They were loud and bright and this was his face during most of the show. Haha!

 Loves the fish tank at the library! He calls them all "Nemo"!

 Loves playing in the shower. But apparently doesn't know what body parts to cover up when taking a picture naked! Ha

 Silly boy finds anything and turns it into a toy or a game. 

 Working on his fitness at the gym with Mom!

 He loves soda! Mom doesn't let him drink it very often but when she does, he is in heaven!

 He loves dogs! "Dog" has been one of his first words since he started talking. This was a little visit to the pet shop at the mall.

 A break in the weather so we went outside to play in the grass!

 He has discovered his love for climbing on tables. But once he is up there and can't figure out a way to climb down, he isn't very happy. 

 He absolutely LOVES his teddy! He has never been a blankie baby, but he has loved his teddy from day one!

 Loves car rides!

 Family beach vacation! He loves the sand!

 But he wasn't a fan of being buried in it!

 He could look in the mirror all day! And why wouldn't he...he has the BEST reflection ever! 

He will be two in a couple months and he is continuing to learn and grow everyday. He is talking a lot and learning more words everyday. He is so smart and just so so perfect in every way!

Summer 2013

A lot of things have been happening since the end of the school year has come and gone...and now we are deep into our hot summer and are having so much fun!

Carter loves going to his sister's softball games! He likes to find ways to keep busy such as playing at the playground nearby or bringing his own toys and playing. Here he is walking his doggy! 

 He is so funny! He loves the movie "Wreck It Ralph". During the movie there is a sad/scary part and Carter covers his ears and makes this face during that part. He makes us laugh!

 LOVING the pool and water parks! He is becoming quite the little fishy!

 We were playing around one day and decided to make this a game. He thought sitting on the toilet was fun at first but then he got mad and wanted off right away! Needless to say, we are far from being ready to take this step!

 Loves macaroni and loves to feed himself. He has demanded on feeding himself since he was about 16 months old. He learned how to use a spoon at an early age! So independent!

 Getting a haircut! I love his fro but love that we can do anything to it and he still looks stinkin' adorable!

 So cute with his short hair! I love his facial expressions. 

 This one might be one of my favorites! Such a silly boy!

Carter is such an amazing little boy! So crazy to think he will be two in just 4 short months. He loves to dance, play with cars, push anything with wheels, do headstands and somersaults, swim, play with his Sissy, tackle Daddy, cuddle with Mama, and watch Disney movies. He is such a joy and continues to brighten our lives every single day! 

17 Months Old!

 Carter baby is now 17 months old and developing the most awesome personality ever! His facial expressions and "stink-eye" are famous around here!

While at a friends house, their little girl decided to play dress up with Carter. He kept the whole outfit on for about 10 minutes. He loved all the attention he was getting!

And here's the stink-eye and scowl! Don't ever tell him "no" unless you are prepared to get the stare down!

Funny boy loves his bath! He was so excited to take one this particular day that he started to rip his diaper off before I had the chance to help him.

Getting his hair cut last month. This is his second hair cut he's ever had. His hair has been growing so fast lately and if we don't control it, he starts to grow a Lionel Richie mullet in the back! It's hilarious!

Playing outside on a gorgeous day! We love Spring in Arizona! He's practicing his basketball skills so he can take Kobe's spot!

This is a little out of order but this is the result of his latest hair cut from the picture above. Oh he is just so handsome!!

Always happiest when reading books! He loves his books!

Breaking into the goldfish crackers at the store before we can even pay for them! He's a little impatient and Momma has a hard time telling him no!
