Can't believe this sweet boy is 3! We celebrated by watching Big Hero 6 on opening day in the theaters, followed by lunch at his favorite place (Chipotle), and then had a party with friends at our house. He is one loved boy, that's for sure! With his Auntie being an amazing photographer, we made sure to take some fun pictures of the birthday boy too. He is used to being behind the camera and knows how to pose and work it. He's a funny boy. These pictures are all from that photo shoot in the studio.

Carter is fully potty trained! It was my goal to have him done by the time he turned 3. We tried a little when he was 2 1/2, but that didn't work so well. He just wasn't ready. So we waited a few more months and that seemed to do the trick. He was potty trained within 3 days when we tried it for the 2nd time. No bed wetting either! He's a pro!

He is full of energy and coming out of his shell a lot these days. He is still terrified of dogs (no matter how big or small). Maybe one day we will get one so he can get over his fear. He LOVES his sister and gets so excited every day when her bus pulls up at the bus stop from school. We recently got a big wooden swing set with a giant slide…that's where he spends most of his time! He is starting to show some attitude as well. He skipped the "terrible 2's" stage and saved it for his 3's apparently. He isn't terrible by any means, but he is becoming more independent and knows what he wants and doesn't want...and he isn't afraid to let us know when he's upset! Haha!

He is full of life and so so smart! He will start preschool in the Fall but he already knows all of his letters, numbers, colors, animals and all the sounds they make, and much more! He amazes us daily.
